If something had happened to you and I could've stopped it I wouldnt be able to live with myself whether you came back or not

[And he's saved her life before, of course, but he hasn't died for her, and she's grappling with it. She can't help but feel guilty, even though she knows she would have done the same for him in a heartbeat. Natasha just doesn't want to lose him for the millionth time. Sometimes, she thinks he's better than she deserves.]
